Preparing for an Exceptional First Dental Visit

As you prepare for your first visit to our dental office, we want to make sure that you feel knowledgeable and confident the moment you walk through our doors, so feel free to review the information below and call us if you have any questions.
Your First Visit
Arriving for your first dental appointment will include checking in at our front desk before filling out any new patient information. You will be called back to an operatory room by our dental assistant who will perform digital X-rays. Once we have the appropriate imaging, we will complete a thorough exam and cleaning the same day so that you leave with a cleaner, fresher smile. If any issues are found, we will develop a treatment plan that we will then discuss with you. Dr. Bemani will explain what needs to be done before you return to the front desk to check out.
Patient Forms
As part of the new patient process, you will need to fill out the necessary paperwork before undergoing any kind of dental care. When arriving at our office, we will provide the forms you need to complete that detail your oral and health history as well as any medications you might be taking. You’ll also need to provide us with your dental insurance information if you have it. Or, you can save time by downloading them, printing them off, and bringing them with you to your appointment!

We are pleased to be in-network with almost all PPOs and can also accept Medicaid, including Maryland Healthy Smiles. Our team understands that having this type of financial help is important to our patients, and we want to make sure that we help you and your loved ones save as much as possible. This is why we’ll go out of our way to review your plan, maximize your benefits, and file any claims and paperwork on your behalf.
CareCredit Financing
For uninsured individuals, we are pleased to partner with the third-party financier, CareCredit. Offering low-to-no-interest payment plans and no surprise fees, this option is a great way to break up the cost of your treatment into manageable installments over several months instead of paying the full amount upfront. We will be happy to help you with more details at your appointment with us!
Medicaid & Medicare Accepted
Dr. Bemani and our team are also happy to welcome some Medicare plans, and we participate with Medicaid as well. This makes achieving regular dental care easier for those who rely on these plans to get the care they need.
